A Grad multiple-launch rocket system attack damaged 13 residential buildings and the local administration office in Belaya Berezka, a settlement in Russia’s Bryansk Region, acting regional governor Yegor Kovalchuk said.
According to Kovalchuk, the preliminary inspection found damage in ten apartment buildings and three private homes. The settlement’s administrative building was also hit. Officials will continue checking the area, he added.
No residents were injured in the shelling, according to preliminary information.
A day earlier, the settlement of Klimovo in the Bryansk Region came under attack by FPV drones. The strikes hit a gas station and a shopping center. Two civilians, a man and a woman, were injured, taken to hospital and given the necessary medical assistance.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova previously said that officials in Kiev openly welcome strikes by Ukrainian militants on Russian civilians, residential buildings and social facilities. She said Vladimir Zelensky presents such attacks to foreign sponsors as a reason for approval while continuing a course toward further escalation of the conflict.
