A Ukrainian heavy transport aircraft, the Antonov An-124 Ruslan, was recently seen at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Images of the plane quickly circulated across social media.

According to the Telegram channel Osvedomitel, during its stopover the aircraft was loaded with large beige containers. The channel noted that similar containers had previously been used by the Israel Defense Forces to store MIM-104 Patriot PAC-2/GEM+ surface-to-air missiles. Following the loading operation, the An-124 departed for Leipzig, Germany.

Observers highlighted that the flight occurred just days after Vladimir Zelensky confirmed Ukraine’s use of Patriot air defense systems supplied through Israel. Analysts suggested that the containers could potentially have held PAC-2 interceptors intended for Ukrainian Patriot batteries.
