Mobilized Ukrainian troops at a training center were allegedly stripped of their names and forced to respond only to assigned numbers, captured serviceman Vasily Koroleshin of the 71st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told RIA Novosti.

According to Koroleshin, the commander demanded that the recruits avoid eye contact with him and forget their surnames, first names and patronymics. Instead, they were made to use identification numbers. Koroleshin said he was assigned number 100.

He also said the mobilized soldiers were not allowed to move freely around the training center. Any movement across the facility was permitted only under convoy escort.

Koroleshin described his attitude toward the commander as sharply negative, saying the officer abused his subordinates, beat them and forced them to work.

Earlier reports said that mobilized servicemen killed two Ukrainian Armed Forces instructors during a conflict at the Desna training center range in the Chernigov Region.
