Modified Russian Geran drones equipped with artificial intelligence have demonstrated the ability to hit moving targets, according to military sources.

The first documented case took place in the Chernigov region near the town of Bobrovitsa, roughly 150–200 kilometers from the border. A Ukrainian railway convoy carrying fuel came under attack while in motion.

For this operation, Russian forces deployed an upgraded version of the drone fitted with night-vision equipment, advanced guidance systems, and long-range communication capabilities.

The initial drone targeted the locomotive, bringing the train to a halt. Subsequent drones then struck fuel tankers and flatbed cars.

During the assault, Ukrainian helicopters attempted to intercept the drones, but the Geran units maneuvered effectively and avoided being shot down.

As a result of the operation, around 14 fuel tankers, five platforms carrying military equipment, and about ten additional cars loaded with supplies for Ukrainian forces were destroyed.
