Rostec has presented an upgraded version of the Supercam S180, a reconnaissance drone designed to spot approaching interceptor UAVs and help avoid ramming attacks. The new model was shown at the National Security. Belarus-2026 exhibition in Minsk, the state corporation’s press service told RIA Novosti.
The Supercam S180 is a high-speed UAV with a swept-wing layout, giving it a silhouette similar to a jet fighter. In its updated form, the aircraft has become faster and more autonomous, with an endurance of more than four hours in the air. That allows it to carry out extended reconnaissance missions. The drone is launched from a catapult and can carry a payload of up to 1.5 kilograms.
One of the key upgrades is an additional camera that monitors the rear and upper hemispheres. This gives the UAV the ability to detect nearby objects on its own and alert the operator when an interceptor drone is approaching for a ramming attack.
The aircraft has also received a radio-frequency detection system. According to Rostec’s press service, the system helps identify hostile UAVs by their radio emissions. The corporation is also working on protection against modern electronic countermeasures: the drone is equipped with several navigation systems that back each other up.
The new Supercam S180 can also carry out a reconnaissance mission automatically. It is able to reach a designated area, collect video data by day and night, then process the footage and recognize objects using artificial intelligence.
The National Security. Belarus-2026 exhibition is taking place in Minsk from June 17 to 19. Rostec enterprises are displaying drones, loitering munitions, UAV detection and suppression systems, and small arms at the event.
