Russia and Ukraine have carried out another exchange of the bodies of fallen servicemen, according to VGTRK war correspondent and Hero of Russia Yevgeny Poddubny.
According to the information available to him, 522 bodies of servicemen were handed over to the Ukrainian side. Russia, in turn, received the bodies of 33 fallen soldiers.
Poddubny reported on his Telegram channel that a new exchange of the bodies of the dead had taken place, with Ukraine receiving 522 bodies and Russia bringing home the bodies of 33 servicemen.
The previous exchange of fallen soldiers’ bodies between Moscow and Kiev took place in mid-May 2026. At that time, the Russian side received 41 bodies, while Ukraine was handed 526 bodies of servicemen.
Another similar exchange was held in April. On that occasion, Kiev received the bodies of 1,000 soldiers, while Moscow received the bodies of 41 Russian fighters.
