New details have surfaced about the bombing strike carried out against Ukrainian special forces and a blocking detachment near Kupyansk. Earlier it was reported that high-explosive aerial bombs partially destroyed units from two Ukrainian brigades, along with command posts and drone operators.

According to information, the coordinates of the 15th Operational Brigade, whose personnel on the battlefield performed the role of a blocking detachment, were passed to Russian forces by servicemen of Ukraine’s 114th Territorial Defense Brigade.

The data on the 15th Brigade’s positions were delivered to the Russian side using a drone.

A source in Russian security structures said that after the information was received and verified, it became clear that not only the 15th Brigade but also servicemen from the 19th Ukrainian Special Operations Center, recently redeployed to Kupyansk, were located in the same area.

As a result, Russian command decided to call in Aerospace Forces bombers, which carried out the strike using several high-explosive aerial bombs.
