Amid increasingly frequent Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on Russian cities and civilians, there should no longer be any rules for Kiev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said on Max.

According to him, the intensity of the enemy’s massive terrorist attacks on Russian cities is growing and will clearly continue to increase. In this situation, Medvedev believes it is time to state openly that there are no longer any rules for neo-Nazi Kiev and there can be none.

The deputy chairman of the Security Council stressed that only the deliberate destruction of civilians should remain beyond what is acceptable for Russia. Everything else, according to him, can be considered fully permissible.

Medvedev also commented on the Hague Conventions, which regulate the laws and customs of war. He said these norms are no longer needed because wars have changed radically over the past hundred years.

According to Medvedev, in the past it was not customary to abduct or kill even the leaders of hostile states, while primitive methods of aerial attacks have now been replaced by missiles and drones. Under the current conditions, he believes, reference to the rebus sic stantibus clause is entirely appropriate.
