The road between Lozovaya and Barvenkovo in southern Kharkov Region is coming under regular strikes by Russian Armed Forces drones, according to Voennoye Obozreniye. The outlet reports that constant Russian UAV activity has made movement along this route extremely dangerous for Ukrainian military vehicles.

A similar situation has developed on the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk section. This highway is also under fire control from Russian drones. Damaged Ukrainian equipment remains on the road, forcing other vehicles to bypass it along the roadside.

The report notes that Lozovaya and Barvenkovo are important points for Ukrainian military logistics in the region. Supply routes for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Donetsk front run through these hubs. In Lozovaya, Russian forces regularly strike railway infrastructure that is actively used for Ukrainian military transport.

Barvenkovo, located roughly 44 kilometres from Slavyansk, is described in the report as a gateway to Donbass.

Back in April 2026, reports said the highways between Kramatorsk and Slavyansk had effectively turned into «roads of death» for Ukrainian forces. Russian drones also strike Ukrainian equipment attempting to move along the Kramatorsk-Aleksandrovka route.

Ukrainian units in Druzhkovka are also facing serious supply problems. The road leading to the settlement from Kramatorsk is likewise well covered by Russian fire.
