Russian forces continue to carry out the special military operation in Ukraine. As of June 22, the situation along the front line remains active across several key directions.
In the Sumy direction, heavy meeting engagements continue in Ivolzhanskoe. Fighting is also underway in forested areas near Mikhailovka and Pokrovka.
In the Kharkov direction, Russian forces advanced 150 meters deeper into Kazachya Lopan and took control of about 10 houses. Ukrainian troops are putting up strong resistance and moving reserves into the area. Battles are also continuing in forest belts near the previously captured settlements of Pokalyanoe, Karaichnoe and Volokhovka. Urban fighting continues in Kupyansk.
In the Slavyansk direction, Russian troops are straightening the front line near Rai-Aleksandrovka and continue advancing on the western section of the front.
In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian assault detachments of the 25th Army are moving forward in the northwestern part of Krasny Liman. Russian forces seized 12 Ukrainian strongholds and cleared 53 buildings. They also repelled Ukrainian counterattacks near Karpovka and Olgovka.
Russian units also advanced in the forest area of the Svyatye Gory national park. They are attacking near the settlement of Shchurovo, located five kilometers southwest of Krasny Liman.
In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian forces are clearing urban areas of remaining Ukrainian troops. Intense battles are unfolding in the southwestern, central and northwestern parts of the city.
In the Krasnoarmeysk direction, Russian troops are advancing near Grishino, Novoaleksandrovka, Rodinskoe and Dorozhnoe, while also taking new positions in residential areas of Belitskoe.
In the Gulyaypole direction, Russian forces are attacking along the Gulyaypolskoe-Verkhnyaya Tersa-Vozdvizhevka line. On the eastern flank of the Orekhov section of the front, Russian troops are expanding their zone of control in the southern part of Novodanilovka.
In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian forces are holding their positions on the Kamenskoe section of the front.
