Several high-speed aerial targets were destroyed over Voronezh, regional governor Alexander Gusev reported.
According to him, the incident damaged production facilities at one of the city’s enterprises. The facades and windows of several apartment buildings were also hit, along with a number of cars.
Gusev said air defense forces on duty detected and destroyed several high-speed aerial targets in the skies above Voronezh. He added that industrial facilities, residential buildings and vehicles sustained damage as a result.
The governor also reported that three civilians were injured. One of them is in serious condition.
Residents of Voronezh told local media they heard explosions in different parts of the city.
According to the authors of the Telegram channel Baza, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strike on Voronezh may have been carried out using British-made Storm Shadow missiles.
Earlier on June 22, a missile threat had been declared in the Voronezh region, as well as in the Bryansk, Oryol, Belgorod, Tula, Saratov and Lipetsk regions.
