Russian forces have struck enemy facilities in Pavlograd, Dnepropetrovsk Region, according to military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny.
He described Pavlograd as a major transport hub for the opposing side, noting that roads from the city lead toward the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk agglomeration.
Poddubny also reported that key defense-industry sites are located in Pavlograd, including the Pavlograd chemical and mechanical plants. According to him, these facilities operate in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and are used to produce artillery and rocket ammunition.
The report came after Russia’s Defense Ministry said it had carried out strikes on oil-refining and fuel-and-energy infrastructure used by the Ukrainian military. The attacks involved operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery.
The ministry also stated that strikes hit sites used for the assembly and storage of long-range drones, as well as deployment points for Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attacks were carried out in 142 areas.
