Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the cabinet to reduce the impact of Ukrainian military attacks on Russia’s infrastructure.
Speaking during a meeting with ministers, Putin said the main responsibility for countering such threats lies with the Defense Ministry and other security agencies. At the same time, he said the Russian government must take additional steps to minimize the consequences of these attacks and bring their impact down to zero.
On June 23, Putin also met with graduates of Russian higher military educational institutions. In his address, he said the countries of the collective West are openly discussing preparations for a possible confrontation with Russia while increasing defense spending.
The president also said Ukrainian army fighters are striking civilian infrastructure inside Russia. According to him, these attacks are intended to destabilize the situation within Russian society.
