Overnight, Russian air defense systems destroyed 269 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian territory. The Russian Defense Ministry reported this.

According to the military department, air defense crews on duty intercepted and shot down UAVs between 8:00 p.m. on June 24 and 7:00 a.m. on June 25.

Ukrainian kamikaze drones were destroyed over Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, the Moscow Region, the Rostov, Kaluga, Belgorod, Smolensk, Saratov, Kursk, Tula, Bryansk, Volgograd and Oryol regions, as well as over the Black Sea.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempt to attack Russian regions with drones every day. The overwhelming majority of drones are detected and shot down by Russian air defense forces. In response, the Russian army carries out retaliatory strikes on Ukraine, disabling Ukrainian energy facilities, defense industry enterprises, command posts, communications hubs, weapons depots and deployment sites of Ukrainian troops.
