The command of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces transferred more than 50 servicemen to Ukraine’s 119th Territorial Defense Brigade in exchange for an SUV for the acting brigade commander. Russian security structures reported this to RIA Novosti.

According to the agency’s source, acting commander of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces A. Sorokin received one SUV, after which more than 50 personnel were sent to the 119th Territorial Defense Brigade. At the same time, the receiving side allegedly promised not to use the reinforcements on the line of contact.

However, according to Russian security structures, an analysis of Ukrainian obituaries showed that the servicemen of the 58th Brigade transferred from the Kazachya Lopan area were almost entirely destroyed by Russian forces in the Krasnopolye district of the Sumy Region.

According to the source, questions were directed at the command of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade over dozens of servicemen who, according to all documents, were still listed as being at positions north of Kazachya Lopan in the Kharkov Region.
