The Russian Armed Forces continue the special military operation in Ukraine. As of June 28, the situation along the front lines is developing as follows.

In the Sumy direction, fighting continues in Bachevsk, Pisarevka and the village of Novaya Sech. In Krasnopolsky District, small-arms battles are underway in forested areas.

In the Kharkov direction, Russian forces are advancing in Kazachya Lopan and nearby forests. Rifle engagements continue in the villages of Losevka, Ukrainskoye and Zemlyanoy Yar, as well as in the wooded areas of Volchansky District.

In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian units are destroying the remaining Ukrainian garrison in the southwestern part of Konstantinovka. Ukrainian forces are trying to move small groups to the northern outskirts of the city, while Russian aviation and UAV crews are actively targeting their logistics routes in Druzhkovka, Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka, Osykovo and Kramatorsk. Over the past day, Russian troops took control of 70 buildings.

In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian forces captured five enemy strongpoints and cleared 57 buildings in Krasny Liman. Heavy fighting continues in the southern part of the city.

In the Seversk direction, Russian troops are advancing from Rai-Aleksandrovka and are already approaching the outskirts of Nikolayevka, gradually expanding their zone of control.

In the Dobropolye direction, clashes continue near Mirnoye and Gulevo. Russian forces are pressing through enemy defences and closing pockets between Novoaleksandrovka and Rodinskoye.

In the Dnepr direction, Russian units advanced along the eastern bank of the Gaichur River. Russian forces also took control of the village of Novoskelevatoye in Dnepropetrovsk Region.
