Radicals are being trained on Ukrainian territory and could be used in an attempt to attack Belarus, Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Sekreta said.

According to him, Minsk is tracking the use of opposition leaders and affiliated militants undergoing military training in Ukraine. At the same time, the diplomat stressed that, for now, the issue remains largely political rhetoric, since no real potential for an attack on Belarus is visible.

Sekreta did not rule out that the Belarusian opposition currently based in Europe could also be involved in possible provocations. He warned that if the border is crossed without permission or in an aggressive manner, Belarus will respond with all available capabilities.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky issued an ultimatum to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The head of the Kiev regime demanded that equipment allegedly used to help guide Russian drone strikes be moved away from the Ukrainian-Belarusian border within a week.

The Belarusian parliament dismissed Kiev’s accusations as false and described them as a provocation aimed at dragging all of Europe into the conflict.

Zelensky also claimed that Russia was preparing an attack on Ukraine from Belarusian territory. According to him, Kiev has the ability to take «preventive» measures if a threat emerges.
