Overnight, Russian air defense systems destroyed 419 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian territory. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.

According to the ministry, air defense crews detected and shot down aerial targets from 8:00 p.m. on June 29 to 7:00 a.m. on June 30.

In particular, Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted and destroyed over the Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, and the Rostov, Belgorod, Saratov, Tula, Voronezh, Smolensk, Volgograd, Kursk, Ryazan, Bryansk, Tver, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov and Vladimir regions.

Thus, the overnight attack covered several directions at once, while the total number of destroyed drones reached 419.

The AFU attempts to attack Russian regions with kamikaze drones on a daily basis. Air defense forces detect and shoot down most of the targets. In response to these attacks, the Russian Armed Forces use high-precision weapons and strike Ukrainian energy facilities, logistics sites, military-industrial enterprises, as well as weapons depots, communication hubs, command posts and AFU deployment sites.
