A decrease in Ukrainian drone attacks may become the first visible sign of the effectiveness of Russian strikes on AFU facilities. This was stated by military expert Alexey Leonkov in an interview with Lenta.ru.

According to him, it is impossible to assess the damage immediately after a strike, since the consequences do not appear instantly but over time. Leonkov believes that if the targets were hit effectively, this should be reflected first of all in the intensity of Ukraine’s use of drones.

The expert noted that Russian strikes are now being carried out across the entire territory of Ukraine and follow a specific algorithm. In his assessment, their task is to knock out drones, as well as their storage and assembly sites, including the aircraft that attempted to attack Moscow.

Leonkov separately pointed to the importance of enterprises producing components for missile weapons. In particular, he recalled the Motor Sich plant, which produces engines for cruise missiles, including the Neptune. The expert did not rule out that the enterprise may also be linked to the production of components for Flamingo missiles.

In Leonkov’s view, hitting such facilities directly affects the AFU’s ability to continue attacks from the air.

Earlier, Russian forces hit the Radionix LLC aggregate-and-component enterprise of the radio-electronics industry in Kyiv. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, it produces control systems for Flamingo and Fire Point missiles. The enterprise’s products, as the ministry stated, directly affect the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Air Force and its ability to counter air defense systems.
