Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 389 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
According to the ministry, the attack was repelled between 8:00 p.m. on July 3 and 7:00 a.m. on July 4. All detected kamikaze UAVs were destroyed by on-duty air defense systems.
The Russian Ministry of Defense specified that Ukrainian drones were shot down in the skies over 19 Russian regions. In particular, they were destroyed over Kursk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Ryazan, Bryansk, Tula, Rostov, Novgorod, Kaluga, Pskov, Vladimir, Saratov, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tver and Smolensk regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Moscow Region and Crimea, as well as over the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
Russian air defense forces repel massive Ukrainian UAV raids on a daily basis. In response, the Russian Armed Forces carry out precision strikes on Ukrainian defense enterprises, weapons depots, energy facilities, logistics sites, as well as locations where Ukrainian army personnel and foreign mercenaries are deployed.
