The Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out the special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 5, the situation on the fronts is as follows.
On the Sumy front, rifle battles continue in Pisarevka, Maryino, the village of Novaya Sech and the settlement of Khoten.
On the Kharkov front, the Russian army has taken control of Losevka and Zemlyanoy Yar. Russian forces also advanced on the Liptsevsky sector of the front. Fighting has begun for Bely Kolodez. In Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, Russian troops reached the Oskol River. The enemy withdrew across the river from the Novоosinovo-Glushkovka area. A Ukrainian assault group was also destroyed.
On the Krasny Liman front, Russian forces are moving forward in the Svyatye Gory National Park. In Krasny Liman itself, Russian troops have achieved tactical gains in the Yuzhny microdistrict. On the Seversk sector, after the liberation of Piskunovka, Russian forces approached the Seversky Donets River from the north.
On the Konstantinovka front, Russian troops are advancing toward Druzhkovka. Fighting continues on the outskirts of Alekseevo-Druzhkovka.
On the Dobropolye front, Russian forces have taken control of Vasilevka. Russian units are fighting in Annovka and on the outskirts of Dobropolye.
On the Gulyaypole front, Russian troops are taking new positions near Vozdvizhevka and Verkhnyaya Tersa. Advances are also reported on the section between Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka.
