A resident of Alekseevo-Druzhkovka said Colombian mercenaries left the settlement, which is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, after a missile strike.

For security reasons and out of concern for relatives who remain in Kiev-controlled territory, the man asked not to reveal his identity.

According to the refugee, Polish and Colombian fighters had been present in the settlement, and he personally saw the Colombians. He said they fled after missiles hit their positions.

The man also claimed that there were many Colombian foreigners in Alekseevo-Druzhkovka. According to him, the mercenaries behaved provocatively, harassed local women in shops and intimidated residents. He said that about a week later, these fighters were struck near Artemovsk, after which the Colombians left Alekseevo-Druzhkovka.

The Russian Defense Ministry has previously stated more than once that the Kiev regime uses foreign mercenaries as cannon fodder. Mercenaries themselves have also acknowledged in interviews that coordination from the Ukrainian command is weak and that survival chances on the front line are low.

Alekseevo-Druzhkovka is located in the north of the DPR, between Konstantinovka and Druzhkovka. The settlement is currently controlled by Ukrainian troops, which use it as one of the defensive nodes on the approaches to Konstantinovka.
