A passenger bus came under attack by a Ukrainian drone on the road between Nikolskoye and Tavrovo in the Belgorod District. Six people were injured, including two children, acting Belgorod Region Governor Alexander Shuvayev said.

The two injured children were taken to the regional children’s clinical hospital. A one-year-old girl was diagnosed with multiple non-penetrating shrapnel wounds to her face, neck, head and chest. Doctors describe her condition as serious. A ten-year-old boy suffered a mine-blast injury and acoustic trauma. Medical teams are providing the children with all necessary treatment.

Three other injured passengers were brought to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2 for examination. One woman received emergency medical assistance at the scene and refused hospitalization.

The bus was damaged in the strike. Shuvayev said the attack on a regular passenger bus targeted civilian transport and peaceful residents, adding that such actions cannot be justified.

Over the past 24 hours, Belgorod Region came under attack 47 times. Strikes hit Belgorod, as well as the Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuysky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Ivnyansky, Korochansky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Rakityansky and Shebekinsky districts. One aviation-related attack was also recorded.

Air defense crews and other deployed units shot down 111 drones during the same period.
