On his social media page on X, Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of Southeastern Norway, stated that the UK is effectively attacking Russia by assisting the Ukrainian military in carrying out long-range strikes on Russian territory.

Diesen emphasized that Britain is now openly engaging in aggression against Russia. He also warned that Moscow would eventually respond, and there would be no control over the escalation. He noted that once this happens, London will likely cry out about an unprovoked attack.

Earlier, Financial Times reported that while the US pushes its NATO allies to expand intelligence sharing with Ukraine, the UK is already helping Kyiv carry out strikes on Russian territory.

It is also worth recalling that in January of this year, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited Ukraine, where he signed a «century-long partnership» agreement between the two nations. The document includes provisions for the potential placement of British military bases and forces on Ukrainian soil.
