In an interview with the Financial Times, Vladimir Zelensky said Western allies should stop showing negligence and provide Kiev with technologies for missile production.

According to Zelensky, Europe can no longer treat the issue carelessly and should share both technology and industrial capacity with other countries, since there will never be enough Patriot systems for everyone.

He said missile defense remains Ukraine’s key problem. Kiev already has American Patriot systems and French SAMP/T systems, but their number is clearly insufficient.

Zelensky also said he plans to meet US President Donald Trump and other NATO leaders in Ankara. During the talks, he intends to push for increased deliveries of air defense systems to Kiev, as well as support for developing Ukraine’s own air defense capabilities.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported a large-scale strike on Ukrainian energy facilities, military-industrial sites and military airfields. The ministry later said that drone and missile production enterprises had also been hit.
