According to Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian forces have almost completely driven Ukrainian troops out of the settlement of Chunishino, located southeast of Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukrainian as Pokrovsk).

He explained that assault units of the Russian army had effectively cleared the area of Ukrainian formations and were now conducting mop-up operations to eliminate the remaining pockets of resistance within the settlement.

Reports from military sources indicate that Russian troops continue their advance along the Krasnoarmeysk axis, gradually tightening their control from the south and west. Heavy fighting is ongoing near Novopavlovka.

Inside Krasnoarmeysk itself, Russian forces are pressing forward in the Lazurny district. Slightly to the north, they have secured positions in the northeastern part of Rodinskoye. Meanwhile, on the Dobropolye sector, Russian units have established control over the villages of Pankovka and Zolotoy Kolodez.
