Military expert and retired Navy captain Vasily Dandykin suggested that during a recent combined strike, Russian forces may have destroyed underground missile production facilities in Lvov.

He explained that the attack was carried out at night using Kinzhal hypersonic missiles — weapons typically employed against high-value and deeply protected targets, including underground infrastructure.

Dandykin noted that the strike could have also hit nearby warehouses and drone production sites. He added that among the damaged facilities might have been those connected to the «Flamingo» missile project, hinting that there are many interested parties in such developments, including in Western Europe.

The expert also assumed that the Russian army could have targeted a Ukrainian command post. According to him, such a facility dating back to the Warsaw Pact era is located in Lvov and may have been modernized and used by the Ukrainian military during the current conflict.
