Russian military sources report that troops have broken through Ukrainian defenses north of Krasnoarmiysk (known in Ukraine as Pokrovsk) and are now advancing toward Kostyantynivka. The current depth of the advance is estimated at around 13 kilometers.

According to the Telegram channel Voennaya Khronika, the breach of Ukrainian positions occurred relatively quickly. The authors interpret this as a sign of a deepening crisis within Ukraine’s armed forces, though they caution that it is still too early to speak of a complete collapse of the front line. At the same time, some Ukrainian outlets have already described the situation in the Krasnoarmiysk sector as irreversible.

The channel’s analysts suggest that the immediate objective of the push north of Krasnoarmiysk is to cut off Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. They note that the decisive phase of the battle for these strategically important cities may now be beginning.
