Russian forces carried out a series of overnight strikes on military-industrial facilities in Kiev and port infrastructure in the Odessa Region on July 14. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attack involved long-range precision weapons launched from the ground and air, along with unmanned aerial vehicles.
In Kiev, the strikes targeted enterprises involved in the production of missile systems and drones. One of the facilities hit was the state-owned Radioizmeritel enterprise, which the ministry said supplies electronic components, assemblies and other equipment for Neptun-MD guided missiles, FP-7 and FP-9 tactical missiles, and the Grom-2 system.
The plant also manufactures navigation and landing equipment, as well as microwave components used by the aviation industry.
Another strike hit the Kiev-79 industrial facility owned by Ukr Armo Tech. The Defense Ministry described it as one of Ukraine’s main production sites for assembling warheads used in various types of missiles and drones.
Explosives intended for ammunition production were also processed and stored at the site. The facility additionally served as a logistics hub for storing and dispatching military equipment, including armored vehicles and unmanned aircraft.
In the Odessa Region, Russian forces struck infrastructure at the port of Yuzhny. The targets included facilities used to unload fuel and lubricants, along with seven fuel storage tanks intended to supply the Ukrainian armed forces.
A cargo ship carrying military supplies was hit while being unloaded at the container terminal. A tanker traveling from the port of Chernomorsk to the port of Odessa was also struck.
