The Armed Forces of Russia continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 17, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:

Kupiansk Direction

Russian forces are expanding their positions inside the city and clearing forest areas of opposing units near Kivsharivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. Russian Aerospace Forces are carrying out strikes on Ukrainian positions near Nechvolodivka and Hrusivka.

Kostiantynivka Direction

Fighting continues near Mykolaipillia and Chasiv Yar. In Kostiantynivka itself, Russian units are advancing toward Novoselivka while simultaneously targeting Ukrainian logistics routes between Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.

Siversk Direction

Clashes are ongoing near Tykhonivka and Malynivka. Russian forces are applying pressure on Ukrainian defenses in Vasiutynske and striking warehouses and rear facilities near Mykolaivka.

Lyman Direction

The clearing operation in the city continues. Heavy fighting is underway near Novyi and Redkodub, where opposing forces are attempting counterattacks.
