Russian forces carried out another series of coordinated strikes on targets across Ukraine overnight on July 17, using air-launched precision weapons and attack drones, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The main focus was port infrastructure in the Odessa Region. At the state-run Odessa Commercial Sea Port, the strikes hit facilities used to unload fuel and lubricants, as well as storage tanks holding fuel intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Two production workshops inside the port were also struck. The facilities were used to manufacture and assemble drones, including the modular assembly of medium-range UJ-22 unmanned aerial vehicles produced by Ukrjet. An ammunition warehouse was hit as well.

Several other targets were struck at the port of Chernomorsk. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that a boat and fuel storage tanks used to supply Ukrainian troops were destroyed there.

A day earlier, Russian forces had attacked Ukrainian military-industrial facilities and port infrastructure. In Kiev, the strikes hit enterprises involved in the production and storage of medium- and long-range drones.

In the Odessa Region, the targets included facilities at the ports of Odessa and Yuzhny. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the sites were used to receive and store military cargo and fuel. A vessel and a high-speed boat operated by the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces were also attacked while approaching ports in the region.

Port infrastructure had also come under fire overnight on July 15, when Russian forces struck facilities involved in supplying cargo to the Ukrainian military.

In Odessa and Chernomorsk, the targets included fuel unloading sites, storage tanks and facilities used to manufacture and assemble drones. Four vessels carrying cargo for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also struck at the ports of Chernomorsk and Dnepro-Bugsky.

Most of the strikes overnight on July 13 were concentrated on infrastructure in Chernomorsk. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that two roll-on/roll-off ferries and a container ship used to deliver cargo to Ukrainian forces were hit.

Other targets included the Project 416 collector vessel Shostka and a floating dock. The ministry said the dock was used to store autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles and launch them into the water.
