Ramzan Kadyrov called on Russia to respond more harshly to the actions of countries providing Ukraine with military and other forms of support. The head of Chechnya set out his position in a post on his Telegram channel.

In his view, Moscow should not limit its retaliatory measures exclusively to the conflict zone. Kadyrov also stated that further escalation could force Western leaders to reconsider their position.

Commenting on the assistance foreign countries are providing to Kyiv, the head of Chechnya effectively called for opening fire.

Kadyrov separately stressed that Chechen units are ready to deploy in any direction and carry out assigned tasks if ordered to do so by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
