The Russian Defense Ministry said Russian forces carried out a large-scale strike on military-industrial facilities and logistics sites in Kiev, the Kiev Region and the Odessa Region.
According to the ministry, the operation involved air- and ground-launched precision weapons as well as attack drones. The targets included defense plants and logistics hubs in Kiev and the surrounding region, along with infrastructure at the Yuzhny port in the Odessa Region.
In Kiev, the strike reportedly hit the Radioniks radio-electronics plant. The facility was said to manufacture control systems for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, FP-7 and FP-9 operational-tactical missiles, and Neptun-MD guided missiles. It also repaired onboard equipment and radar systems for MiG-29 fighter jets.
The ministry also reported strikes on the production sites of Spetsoboronmash and the Artem state joint-stock holding company, both of which produced control-system components for those missile types.
Another target was the Meridian plant, where hull elements and guidance-system components for Neptun-MD missiles were manufactured. The Oakline facility, which produced parts for long-range Deep Strike drones and FPV aircraft, was also hit.
The Russian Defense Ministry further said a Novaya Pochta sorting center in Kiev had been struck. According to the ministry, the site was used to store dual-use goods, drone components and electronic warfare equipment.
In the Kiev Region, Russian forces targeted the Antel Properties logistics center in Tarasovka, where components for long-range strike drones were assembled and distributed.
Fuel and lubricant tanks were also hit at the Yuzhny port in the Odessa Region. The Russian Defense Ministry said the stockpiles were intended to supply Ukrainian Armed Forces units.
