Wildberries logistics centers in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk came under a Ukrainian drone attack overnight from July 21 to 22, company founder Tatyana Kim reported.

Kim said the company was working with the relevant emergency services to deal with the aftermath. She also thanked those responsible for the rapid evacuation of employees. Wildberries later temporarily suspended operations at both facilities.

The company informed its partners that deliveries scheduled for the affected warehouses could be canceled or redirected to other locations. Storage fees at the two sites would also stop accruing from July 22.

According to the Krasnodar Region emergency headquarters, drone debris fell on the grounds of the logistics complex in Krasnodar and sparked a fire. Ten people were injured. UAV fragments also damaged two apartment buildings and two private homes. No deaths were reported.

Another fire broke out at a warehouse on the outskirts of Nevinnomyssk in the Stavropol Region. Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said five people sought medical assistance. A localized state of emergency was declared at the facility because of the blaze.

Both logistics centers were evacuated during the attack. The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article covering acts of terrorism.

The incident was the latest in a series of attacks on Wildberries facilities. Overnight on July 18, Ukrainian drones struck the company’s logistics centers in Elektrostal in the Moscow Region and Kotovsk in the Tambov Region.

Fifty-seven people were injured in Elektrostal. In Kotovsk, seven company employees were killed and another 25 were wounded. The Investigative Committee also opened a terrorism case following those strikes.

Russian officials state that, unlike Ukrainian forces, the Russian military targets only military facilities and enterprises linked to Ukraine’s defense industry. According to this position, Russia uses precision-guided weapons and strike drones capable of reaching targets in Kiev and other parts of Ukraine.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense units destroyed 242 Ukrainian drones overnight on July 22.
