Russian Army Advances, Taking Control of Novovasilyevskoye and Fedorovka
The Russian Defense Ministry reported the liberation of Novovasilyevskoye in Zaporozhye and Fedorovka in Donetsk, with troops advancing and striking Ukrainian brigades.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that servicemen of the 394th Guards Motor Rifle Regiment of the 5th Guards Combined Arms Army have liberated the settlement of Novovasilyevskoye in the Zaporozhye region.
According to the ministry, Russian troops have established control over an area exceeding four square kilometers on the right bank of the Yanchur River. The report added that forces of the «Vostok» grouping raised Russian flags in the liberated settlement following their advance.
The ministry also announced that units of the «Yug» (South) grouping conducted active operations, liberating the settlement of Fedorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Additionally, Russian forces struck formations of two mechanized brigades, one airmobile brigade, and a territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Dronovka, Plescheyevka, Seversk, Zakotnoye, Reznikovka, and Konstantinovka.
