Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the United States is directly involved in guiding Ukrainian weapons toward targets inside Russia, including civilian facilities.

According to Lavrov, Washington’s role goes beyond military assistance. He said the United States contributes through arms supplies financed by the European Union, intelligence sharing, Starlink and other forms of support used to direct Ukrainian strikes.

He added that Moscow still believes Washington has not abandoned the proposals put forward in Anchorage. Russia is also closely watching the European Union’s increasing militarization and is prepared for different scenarios, Lavrov said, while stressing that Moscow has no plans to attack other countries.

The Financial Times previously reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces use US intelligence data to plot drone routes for strikes against Russian targets.

US officials have openly acknowledged providing intelligence support to Ukraine. Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke about this in December. In early June, he also said Washington had taken Kiev’s side. At the time, Rubio added that he saw no reason to expect concessions from either party and said diplomatic efforts had yet to produce results.
