Russian forces carried out another large-scale overnight attack on military-related facilities at Ukrainian ports between July 23 and 24, according to Russia’s Ministry of Defense.

The ministry reported that fuel and lubricant storage tanks used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit at the port of Odessa.

In Izmail, Russian strikes targeted facilities used to receive, unload and store military cargo. Three warehouses containing unmanned boats were also hit, including one housing a Magura vessel. Other reported targets included a hangar with Ukrainian military equipment and a floating dock designed to launch autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles.

A cargo ship in Nikolayev was another target of the operation. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the vessel was struck while unloading military supplies.

Ukrainian sources separately reported an overnight attack on an energy facility in the Chernigov region, which sustained damage. Chernigovoblenergo said tens of thousands of customers in Chernigov, the Chernigov district and the Koryukovsky district were left without electricity.

The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly maintained that its forces target infrastructure serving the Ukrainian military and facilities belonging to the country’s defense industry. It said precision-guided weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles were used against such sites.
