Vladimir Zelensky has said he is prepared to travel to the United States to sign a peace agreement with Russia. During a conversation with American journalist Laura Loomer, he indicated that the signing could take place either in the Oval Office or at Mar-a-Lago, US President Donald Trump’s residence in Florida.

According to Zelensky, the final location of a possible meeting would be determined by the head of the White House.

He also argued that securing a ceasefire in the near future would be preferable for Ukraine to continuing the fighting for another 10 or 20 years in pursuit of victory at the cost of further human losses. In his view, a truce remains the better alternative.

Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow was waiting for Washington to present new ideas and proposals for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. He noted that the US administration was genuinely seeking options that could be acceptable to all sides.
