The Russian Defense Ministry said air defenses shot down 133 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian regions during the night.
According to the ministry, the UAVs were intercepted and destroyed between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on July 25 and 8:00 a.m. on July 26.
The drones were brought down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov and Smolensk regions. Additional interceptions were reported over the Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and the Black Sea.
A day earlier, Russian forces carried out a coordinated strike with air- and ground-launched precision weapons against Ukrainian military-industrial facilities in Kiev. The Defense Ministry said the targets included sites used to manufacture, assemble and store drones of various types, as well as their components.
Russian troops also struck infrastructure at the port of Chernomorsk in the Odessa region. The ministry said the facilities were used to receive and store military cargo and supplies of fuel and lubricants.
