The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 28, the situation across the front is as follows.

Sumy Direction

Small-arms fighting continues in Ulanovo and Malaya Slobodka. Clashes are also underway in Ryzhevka, Pisarevka, Mogritsa, Maryino, the village of Novaya Sech, the settlement of Khoten, and south of Ivolzhanskoye.

Ukrainian forces attempted counterattacks near Novaya Sech and Khoten, but the efforts were unsuccessful.

Kharkov Direction

Russian troops are advancing in Kazachya Lopan with air support. Small-arms battles are taking place in Ivanovka, Yurchenkovo, Bely Kolodez, Baksheyevka, near Shevchenkovo, and in Verovka.

The Ukrainian side tried to move five combat groups toward forward positions near Bely Kolodez, but Russian reconnaissance detected the movement.

Krasny Liman Direction

Russian forces have begun an assault on Borovaya. Fighting also continues in Krasny Liman.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian troops took control of Torskoye, located 16 kilometers from Konstantinovka. They are also advancing toward Druzhkovka from the south.

Dobropolye Direction

Russian units are approaching the southeastern outskirts of Dobropolye. Battles are underway near Svetloye, Vodyanskoye, and Matyashevo.

Gulyaypole Direction

Russian forces expanded their control zone west of Vozdvizhevka and advanced west of Ternovatoye. The Russian army also took control of the settlement of Kommunarovka.
