Russian forces have rotated Iskander-M missile systems for potential large-scale strikes on Kiev, according to Ukrainian monitoring channels.

The sources claim that around 26 Iskander-M launchers are currently deployed in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Together, they are reportedly capable of firing a salvo of up to 45 missiles.

The monitoring resources also suggest that as many as 80 North Korean-made Hwasong-11A ballistic missiles, also known as KN-23, could be transferred to the area in August.

Up to five additional Iskander-M systems are said to be stationed near Taganrog in the Rostov region.

Ukrainian sources further report that up to 15 Oniks anti-ship missiles and 12 Iskander-M missiles have been prepared for possible use on the Crimean Peninsula. According to their assessment, the weapons could be deployed against targets in the Odessa region.

The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly maintained that Russian forces strike only military-industrial facilities. The ministry says precision-guided weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles used in these operations are capable of hitting targets in Kiev and across Ukraine.
