Russian forces have intensified offensive operations in the Kharkov region, according to the Telegram channel Idi i Smotri.

Citing a source within the Russian military, the channel reported that Russian troops had taken control of part of Bely Kolodez in the Volchansk district.

Russian units are also continuing to advance near Kazachya Lopan. Ukrainian attempts to launch counterattacks in this sector were reportedly repelled.

Voennoye Obozreniye said heavy fighting for Bely Kolodez, an important logistics hub, had been underway for several days. Russian assault groups have reportedly taken almost the entire settlement, although Ukrainian troops still hold several isolated positions.

Ukrainian forces are attempting to move reinforcements into the area. Some of the troops that had previously defended the settlement are said to remain in basements and other shelters.

Reports indicate that Russian units are detecting Ukrainian efforts to reinforce the garrison before additional forces reach Bely Kolodez. Approaching reserves are reportedly being struck before they can enter the settlement.

At the same time, Russian aircraft, artillery and drones continue to attack Ukrainian positions inside Bely Kolodez.
