Concerns are growing in Ukraine over reports that Iran could launch three ballistic missiles at the country within the next several days, according to the Insider Telegram channel.
The channel cited information circulating among Ukrainian Telegram sources claiming that Tehran may be preparing to fire three missiles within 48 hours. However, the authors stressed that no official confirmation of such plans has emerged.
The post included a map showing the estimated range of Iran’s medium-range Khorramshahr ballistic missile. According to the diagram, most of Ukraine could fall within its reach, while mainly western regions bordering Poland would remain outside the projected strike zone.
The reports followed a Ukrainian attack on an Iranian merchant vessel in the Caspian Sea on July 25. An explosion aboard the ship killed one sailor and injured another.
After the incident, Iranian authorities said the Islamic Republic reserved the right to respond to Kiev.
