The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of July 29, the situation across the front lines was reported as follows.

Sumy Direction

Russian troops are engaged in small-arms fighting in Ulanovo and Malaya Slobodka. Clashes are also continuing in Ryzhevka, Pisarevka, Mogritsa, Maryino, Novaya Sech, Khoten and south of Ivolzhanskoye.

Near Ivolzhanskoye, Ukrainian forces launched unsuccessful counterattacks involving two assault groups. Fighting is also underway in the border village of Prokhody.

Kharkov Direction

Battles for Kazachya Lopan are continuing. Small-arms engagements are taking place in Ivanovka, Yurchenkovo, Bely Kolodez, Baksheyevka, near Shevchenkovo and in Verovka.

High-intensity fighting is ongoing in Kupyansk and areas to the south.

Konstantinovka Direction

Clashes continue on the southern outskirts of Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka. Russian forces have taken control of Krasny Kut.

Krasny Liman Direction

Russian troops continue clearing operations in the urban area of Konstantinovka and are advancing toward Raygorodok. Fighting is also underway near Stary Karavan and Brusovka.

Dobropolye Direction

Russian forces are attacking Chernigovka and moving toward the northern outskirts of Vodyanskoye. Battles for Svetloye are continuing.

Gulyaypole Direction

Fighting is underway near Vozdvizhevka, Ternovatoye and Kommunarovka. Clashes are also continuing around Velikomikhailovka, Kolomiytsy and Gavrilovka.

Zaporozhye Direction

Heavy fighting is taking place along the entire front.
