Russian forces carried out a large-scale overnight strike on Ukraine’s military infrastructure on July 30, using long-range precision weapons launched from land, air and sea, as well as attack drones, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, the operation targeted airfields, defense industry facilities, communications nodes and logistics centers in Kiev, Lvov and the Ivanovo-Frankovsk, Zhitomir, Rovno, Vinnitsa and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The ministry said the sites were used to manufacture, store and transport missiles and drones and to support systems monitoring the airspace.

Two industrial facilities were hit in Kiev. One of them was the Mayak Plant, which the Russian ministry said produced components, warheads, detonators and ammunition, along with launch boosters for long- and medium-range FP-1 and FP-2 attack drones.

The second target in the Ukrainian capital was the Electrotechnical Plant. According to the ministry, the facility manufactured medium-range reconnaissance and attack drones, including multicopter aircraft.

In Lvov, a strike hit the LDARZ aviation plant. The Russian Defense Ministry said the facility produced, repaired and serviced turbojet engines used in ground-launched FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles and medium- and long-range drones.

The Lvov state-owned LORTA plant was also struck. The ministry said it manufactured onboard electronics for various missile systems and radar equipment for long-range Neptune-MD guided missiles. The same plant was said to be involved in the Klon project, which the ministry described as an analogue of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system.

Two enterprises in Kalush were targeted in the Ivanovo-Frankovsk region. The first was SKB OVT, which the Russian ministry said was involved in the production and storage of FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, FP-7 and FP-9 operational-tactical missiles and long-range Neptune-MD guided missiles. Warheads for Grom-2 missiles were also allegedly tested at the site.

The second facility in Kalush was NEFTEMASH. According to the Russian military, the plant contributed to the production of FP-5 Flamingo missiles and was used to store and distribute components, some of which had been supplied by Western countries.

In the Rovno region, the strike hit the Rovnoazot chemical plant. The ministry said the facility produced assembly parts and rocket-fuel components for FP-5 Flamingo, FP-7, FP-9 and Grom-2 operational-tactical missiles.

In the Dnepropetrovsk region, the Akvaplast turbofan plant in Krivoy Rog was struck. According to the ministry, the facility developed, assembled, modernized and stored attack drones and unmanned boats. It was also allegedly involved, together with Energomashkomplekt, in producing and repairing towed and self-propelled howitzers using foreign-made components.

A cargo ship in the port of Yuzhny in the Odessa region was targeted separately. The Russian Defense Ministry said the vessel had delivered military cargo.

Two more cargo ships were struck east and south of Odessa. According to the ministry, they were carrying weapons and military equipment intended for onward delivery to the ports of Odessa and Chernomorsk.
