Russian forces have taken control of four settlements in the special military operation zone, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Units of the Sever group captured Yurchenkovo in the Kharkov Region, along with Mogritsa and Malaya Slobodka in the Sumy Region.

On the Sumy front, Russian troops struck units from a Ukrainian motorized infantry brigade, an airmobile brigade and two territorial defense brigades. Fighting took place near Kiyanitsa, Ulanovo, Ryzhevka, Ivolzhanskoye, Ugroedy and the city of Sumy.

In the Kharkov Region, Russian forces hit formations from Ukrainian mechanized and motorized infantry brigades, an assault regiment and a territorial defense brigade. The Defense Ministry listed Karasevka, Ivashkino, Tsupovka, Kolodeznoye, Prikolotnoye, Petropavlovka and Bely Kolodez among the areas where the attacks were carried out.

According to the ministry, Ukrainian forces lost up to 195 troops, two armored combat vehicles and four motor vehicles in this sector.

The Tsentr group took control of a fourth settlement, Krasnoyarskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Russian troops also struck two Ukrainian mechanized brigades, a jaeger brigade, two assault regiments, two marine brigades and three National Guard brigades. Combat operations were reported near Novonikolayevka, Annovka, Vodyanskoye, Matyashevo, Sergeyevka and Dobropolye.

Ukrainian formations lost up to 350 troops, four armored combat vehicles and 11 motor vehicles on this front, the ministry said.
