The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of August 3, the situation across the main sectors of the front is as follows.

Sumy Direction

Heavy fighting continues near Ryzhevka, Maryino, the settlement of Khoten, and south of Ivolzhanskoye. Russian forces are advancing around Ulanovo and on the approaches to Volnaya Sloboda.

Kharkov Direction

Russian troops are expanding their zone of control on the eastern bank of the Oskol River. In Kupyansk, Russian units continue to move forward inside the city. Fighting is also under way toward Kupino.

Krasny Liman Direction

Russian forces are advancing along the Cherneshchina-Druzhelyubovka line. On the Seversk sector, they have achieved tactical gains near Krivaya Luka. Russian troops are also assaulting Nikolayevka from the east.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian units are pushing forward northwest of Nikolaypolye and have made gains near the village of Stenki. Fighting continues in the western-bank section of Osikovo and on the southern outskirts of Alexeyevo-Druzhkovka.

Dobropolye Direction

Russian troops have taken new positions in the central part of Mirnoye. Tactical gains have also been reported in the village of Toretskoye, located one kilometer from Torskoye.

Gulyaypole Direction

Russian forces continue to expand their bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Verkhnyaya Tersa River. They are advancing toward Danilovka, Mirovka, Novoye Pole, and Rybalskoye, while increasing pressure on Ukrainian positions near Ternovatoye.
