Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of August 4, the situation across the front lines is as follows:

Sumy Direction

Russian troops are engaged in fighting in Ulanovo and on the approaches to Volnaya Sloboda. Ukrainian forces reportedly launched an unsuccessful counterattack using quad bikes from the outskirts of Barilovka toward Russian positions near Mogritsa.

Kharkov Direction

Assault units of the Russian Armed Forces have completed the defeat of encircled Ukrainian troops in Bely Kolodez. Russian forces also took control of Ustinovka. In the Kupyansk sector, they continue advancing westward, while south of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy clearing operations are underway along the Oskol River.

Krasny Liman Direction

Russian troops continue advancing while clearing territory in Krasny Liman. Their tactical position has improved along the Cherneshchina-Druzhelyubovka line. Fighting is ongoing on the approaches to Nikolayevka in the Seversk sector, with additional tactical gains reported near Krivaya Luka.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian forces are pressing their offensive in the areas of Ilyinovka and Rusin Yar.

Dobropolye Direction

Russian troops continue tightening the semi-encirclement around Dobropolye, advancing toward the city’s southern and eastern outskirts. They have entered Matyashevo and are taking up new positions in central Mirnoye and on the southern approaches to Novonikolayevka.

Gulyaypole Direction

Combat continues for Dolinka, while clashes are also ongoing in the Ternovatoye area.

Zaporozhye Direction

Heavy fighting continues in the areas of Stepnogorsk and Novoyakovlevka.
