Russian air defenses destroyed 320 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones during a 12-hour overnight attack, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. The unmanned aircraft were intercepted between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on August 3 and 8:00 a.m. on August 4.

The drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions. More UAVs were destroyed over the Moscow Region and the Republic of Crimea.

Another 58 Ukrainian drones were intercepted the previous day between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Air defense units eliminated them over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Oryol regions, the Krasnodar Territory and the Black Sea.

The drone attack on the Novoselki industrial zone in Chekhov injured 10 people, according to updated figures released on Tuesday, August 4, by Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov.

The UAV raid also caused heavy casualties in Arkhipo-Osipovka, part of Gelendzhik. Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported on the morning of Monday, August 3, that falling drone debris had killed and injured residents of the settlement.

The latest figures put the number of injured at 58. Twenty-one people were admitted to hospital, while another 37 received outpatient treatment. Seven people were killed, including three children.
