Russian forces struck seven cargo ships transporting supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on August 4. Geran-4 Seeker drones targeted the vessels in the port of Nikolayev and while they were sailing through the Black Sea operational zone.

The strikes continued into the evening of August 3, hitting Ukrainian ports, ships and harbor infrastructure used by the Ukrainian military. Ground-based precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles were deployed in the attacks.

In the port of Chernomorsk, Russian forces hit the Black Sea Automotive Components Plant and a terminal used to repair military vehicles and store ammunition, fuel and lubricants.

A cargo ship carrying military supplies was struck in Nikolayev. Another vessel of the same type came under attack in the port of Yuzhny while military equipment was being unloaded.

Two more cargo ships were hit south of Odessa as they sailed toward Ukrainian ports with weapons and other military equipment.
